A small, collaborative Reno firm is hiring an associate attorney to manage their own caseload across civil litigation, criminal defense, and appellate work. Attorneys handle client communication, strategy, motions, depositions, and court appearances from day one — no years of just carrying files for someone else. Open to attorneys from any litigation background (civil, criminal, family, insurance defense, PI, government, commercial) who write well, exercise good judgment, and work well with others.
Lower, more humane billable expectations (1,200 hours equivalent) than a typical large firm, with room for flat-fee, contingency, and hourly work. Hybrid/flexible schedule, 401(k) match, paid CLE and bar dues. Informal culture — no suits, no hierarchy for its own sake.
